Flip.to – What it Is and Why You Should Consider it
Flip.to is a social media platform that uses “magnetic marketing” to attract customers. The platform helps businesses to establish all-encompassing, effective, reliable marketing campaigns by engaging guests and the social media channels that they rely on.
Magnetic marketing is the time when the customer and the brand are brought together, at the appropriate time, without either side needing to take an aggressive action.

Discussion: Flip.to – What it Is and Why You Should Consider it
Marketing in this way sounds appealing, as long as that what you try to get over to the future customer is true and there are no strings attached.

Hi Manfred, social network followers are your best source of word of mouth – Flip.to is a natural process that allows hotels guests and Web site visitors to do what they've been doing on their own – vetting venues and destinations to their network communities that they feel add value to the travel experience.
Interesting site at Flip.to; I am not sure yet I understand how this enhances a social experience yet.
Hi Steven, the social experience is enhanced because booked guests are sharing their upcoming trips with their followers while earning incentives (e.g. guestroom upgrade). And their followers are also incented to sign-up for newsletters and future visits as well. In essence, the guest becomes an extension of the hotel's marketing force and his or her followers are more open to this type of branded messaging because it comes from a trusted source vs an ad campaign.

What advantages does Flip.to offer?
Posted by Bill McClain
Flip.to is allows hotels, airlines and restaurants to tie back incentives to different actions depending on what their goals are (such as an incentive for posting or a reward for getting a certain number of sign-ups). For some hotels, it might be to build brand awareness and increase engagement, for others it could be to increase enrollment in their loyalty program.
